A beautiful protected bay, Sebayur Kecil is a huge hard coral garden scattered over a bright white sand slope. The colours of the reef when the sun is out are spectacular.

The corals are home to a lot of macro life, if you can find it. We had the luck of seeing a leaf fish sat on full display amongst a stag horn coral, rather than its usual hard-to-spot camouflage.

The slope ends down at the channel around 20 metres, and when the visibility is good it’s worth looking into the inky depths of the blue and seeing if anything passes by too. Otherwise, this is a perfect first dive dive of the day.
