Nikon D3X Finally Released – The Mother Of All Digital SLRs
This will be the ultimate Christmas present - Nikon's long awaited D3X digital SLR has just been released, with a hefty price tag of $8000 US - Ouch.
There have been rumours circulating for months, but it's finally here - the Nikon D3X, Nikon's top of the line, state of the art digital SLR, with a price tag to match. If you want an underwater housing to go with it, then the good news is that they already exist, as the Nikon D3X uses the same body as its predecessor the Nikon D3 - the bad news is that it will cost you another $4000 for a Sea & Sea underwater housing. Double ouch. That's $12000 altogether, and that's not even with strobes. Quite a lot to entrust to the salt water...
