Canon are one of the best brands for making affordable underwater housings for their digital cameras. I've used a Canon IXUS 400 for the last couple of years (unfortunately I managed to kill it recently) and when I'm on diveboats I always see Canon cameras in their waterproof cases floating in the rinse tank. They are an ideal way to take snaps underwater without it costing a fortune.
