Koh Phi Phi Dive Camp Needs Marine Biology Volunteers

by Chris on May 25, 2006

Do you have a marine biology background? Fancy spending some time on a paradise island in Thailand helping restore the coral reefs? Koh Phi Phi Dive Camp needs you!

Recently I posted my Asian Diver article about Koh Phi Phi's post tsunami rebirth, thanks to the efforts of thousands of volunteer scuba divers who helped remove hundreds of tons of debris from the reefs and beaches. While the main work is done on Phi Phi, the need to keep monitoring and restoring the coral reefs continues. To that end, the Dive Camp is now looking for volunteers with a marine biology background or reef restoration experience. If you think you've can help with assessing and planning the future of the coral reefs, please get in contact with Andrew Hewett via phiphidivecamp.com who can discuss in more detail what they need.
