<description>I lost my Uncle, Donald George Steigler on the Lagarto. These findings have grought closing to my family. My Mother, Donald&#039;s sister, has told me many stories about her brother. The loss was so much a mystery for my family for so many years. Now we are able to understand what happened to this crew and honor their loss. I can not thank everyone involved enough for sharing these details and photos of the Lagarto and it&#039;s resting place.
I never knew my uncle, but have always wondered what it may have been like to have grown up with him at our family gatherings. Uncle Donald is no longer just a name from the past. I can view these photo&#039;s and truely feel a kindred and heart felt bond. God bless the crew of the Lagarto and all who were lost durring the war.
