Planing to go on a liveaboard i agree with Chris booking in advance. Forget about going to Sorong and thinking about diving for one day. You just can go to this resorts,no matter which, takes you a 4/5 hrs. Boat trip and stay there for a week. Doing nothing but diving and chilling! And be prepared to put out the big shells! As far as I know the only land based operations in Raja are the two owned by Max Ammer - Kri and Sorido - and they are both expensive because it's so difficult to import materials and build operations in that part of the world. It's such a remote area that there are few tourists that go there who are not on a liveaboard boat. I wouldn't recommend going to Sorong without a dive trip already booked. Hi Doreen
