I don&#039;t know what the local news is like in other parts of the world, but here, it&#039;s got to be all thrills all the time. We hardly ever get the &quot;happy stories.&quot; Consequently, it&#039;s no surprise that meditations on the bliss of diving didn&#039;t go over so well with Americans.

And I wouldn&#039;t&#039;ve imagined that a book about the history of vanilla would be intriguing...but it sounds good!</description>
